Warning

This version of the diary is deprecated, no longer developed and will be removed from Google Play Store in the future. It is strongly recommended to download the new version of our app "My Diary" (with a green icon). Data from the old diary to the new one can be exported in the settings of the old diary.

Where is my application data stored on Google Drive after Sync?

Application data is stored in a hidden folder on your Google Drive. For security reasons this folder is accessible only by “My Diary” app. Although the folder is hidden you can see the amount of space it occupies and delete its contents.

  1. Go to Google Drive on the web at drive.google.com.
  2. From the settings menu, select “Manage apps”.
  3. Find the application called “My Diary”.
I forgot my password. Can I reset it?

Yes, you can reset your password, but only if you’ve set your security email address.

What is the “Password protection” option in “Synchronization” settings?

“Password protection” is used to protect your data on Google Drive with current password. When this option is selected you won’t be able to perform synchronization until you set the same proper password on all your devices. Note that your data on Google Drive is stored in non-user readable format (encoded) but not encrypted with password.
